the 4th one from the top, that bunjin was not shown. i had to take it back because there were a few trees that showed up late.

I kicking myself for not driving up to see the show. LOVE the pine pictures!

Waiting with anticipation for more. I especially appreciate seeing the complete displays – Boon is a master of the finer points of composing the complete layout. It’s very interesting to see how and which scrolls and accent pots were chosen and positioned…

Thanks Mark – there’s a fine line between informal upright and slant style. I actually don’t go in for style much but chose slant simply because the apex didn’t appear “exactly” over the base of the tree. In hindsight I’d go with informal upright because that better characterizes the trees’ movement.

It is great to see such clean, healthy and well designed JBP. The care reveals deep respect by the Artists. I appreciate that very much. Thank you for sharing them!
I am curious about the description of Slant style for all but the first tree. They appear to be Informal Upright style?
